Nelson Ledges Test, 5/10/02

First test day for Bildon ITB GTI #002

A full test day was planned for our newest car. This car is another 1991 Digifant injected Golf GTI. The car will be driven primarily by Don Thompson who will occasionally be joined by other Bildon team members during enduros.

The test day went without incident. Car #50 was setup identically to car #55 so that direct comparisons could be made. A few things were learned about each car during these tests which will help accelerate the development of both cars.

 

Special thanks to our engine man Alistair who burned the midnight oil (literally) Thursday night to identify a faulty computer. This would have been impossible to troubleshoot without his equipment and expertise.
