Our Bildon Rev-Lite Connecting Rods are designed to remove unnecessary weight from the rod. The I-beam design eliminates thin cross sections over the total length of the beam. This feature greatly improves resistance to crack-induced metal fatigue. These rods were designed by us for use in high RPM normally aspirated applications that do not see the compressive loads of turbocharged engines. We also offer our Bildon HD Connecting Rods for engines which will see high mileage or turbocharged applications. The non-tapered profile of our H-beam helps to spread potentially harmful stress over a larger area, dispersing these destructive loads. This design also places needed material in critically stressed areas.
